Robin Buckley is a seasoned communications professional who brings a rich history of public affairs and government relations expertise to TheWadeGroup, Inc.
Buckley currently serves as president and co-founder of Buckley & Kaldenbach, Inc., an Arlington-based public relations firm.
Prior to forming Buckley & Kaldenbach, Buckley directed all media involving regulatory and legislative policy matters, at both the federal and state levels, at LCI International, Inc., then the nation's sixth-largest long-distance telephone and telecommunications company. She also executed multiple media outreach campaigns and developed communications strategies that targeted a wide range of audiences from Capitol Hill to Wall Street.
Buckley has also provided strategic communications counsel to a variety of corporations and trade groups during her tenure at Ogilvy Adams & Rinehart. She led a number of projects, including developing a strategic planning guide on corporate giving for a major pharmaceutical company; designing a nationwide media and public education program to mark the 40th anniversary of the Interstate Highway System; and implementing a grassroots mobilization strategy for a coalition of AIDS service providers.
In addition, Buckley has over a decade of experience on Capitol Hill. She has served as press secretary to a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee and as deputy press secretary to the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. She also previously worked as a deputy press secretary to the chairman of the Senate Labor and Human Resources Committee.
Buckley received her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University.
